About Me
My name is Chery James. I am a primary school teacher and have been for the last sixteen years. I have always taught at the Second Year Infant level where I am most comfortable and certainly at my best. I am also a single mother of two young, handsome boys who have been my inspiration in the education of young children. As I watch my sons grow and develop educationally, I see the need for change as compared to my days in primary school .
My educational philosophy is "I believe that all children can learn, just not in the same way, or at the same time." In essence, each child is a unique individual who needs a secure, caring, and stimulating atmosphere in which to grow and mature emotionally, intellectually, physically, and socially. It is my desire as a teacher to help students meet their fullest potential in these areas by providing an environment that is safe, supports critical-thinking, and invites a sharing of ideas.

Teachers and eductors of young learners in the primary school, this website is especially for you. My main intention is to share uses and benefits of using multimedia in the classroom. Teachers, students of ALL ages can connect, share and learn on the global scale. Future use in the classroom will unlock a world of opportunity for students.
History of project
I am presently persuing my Bachelor in Education (Language Arts) and this e-portfoilio project was a created as a result of coursework in the "Use of Media and Production of Educational Materials." I extend my greatest appreciation to the course coordinators and e-tutors for this experience.
